mc burbs is a young, white hip hop artist, currently making music out of brooklyn new york. long island born and raised, the 'burbs' in his name refers to a lifetime of influence in humble suburban surroundings, culminating in who he currently is, rather than what he currently represents. rhymes with vigor, the debut album from monkhaus/sound of bums is the result of two years of constant, obsessive attention to detain, honing of craft and immersion in culture, fueled and encouraged by the energies and talents of his collaborators. while strikingly original, m.c. burbs believes not in innovation or experimentation. rather, he embraces hip-hop's most essential elements and strives to present his interpretation at the highest level of the form.
