Born and raised in Queens, to two former hippie parents, she was given a healthy dose of Dr. Seuss, Shel Silverstein, Tupac, Jazz and classic rock. Danielle received the Posse Scholarship to diversify the homogeneous campus of Lafayette College. While there she started a W.O.R.D.S. program for creative arts. She traveled to Namibia and other countries in Sub Saharan Africa and later went on to teach English in Indonesia on the Fulbright Scholarship for a year. While in Indonesia she started a national WORDS program for High school youth and joined a rap group Lost in Translation. Having been working with Boobie Smiff since the earlier years of High School she is finally ready to drop her first anthology. Mixing poetry, Spoken Word and conscious HipHop her music is unique to say the least. She is currently known as Ms. Bero by 300 sixth, seventh and eighth graders in a clearly labeled inner city school in the Bronx.
